Whenever we "eat of the bread" and "drink of the cup," we remember this is Christ's body and blood. But how did it all begin?
Friday evening the gospel accounts will be included in experiencing something of what Jesus' last supper with His disciples may have been like, with an interactive Passover Seder.
Leading up to that meal was another meal a week earlier, when Mary of Bethany anointed Jesus, probably the most intimate moment between Jesus and another person recorded in scripture. This retreat will focus on what we can learn from Mary's relationship with the Lord, and from the relationships of two other women--Mary, the mother of Christ, and Mary of Magdala.
An interactive workshop on Saturday will provide ways to draw closer in fellowship to God, and to each other, in the Spirit of Christ, and the retreat will close with a time of worship and prayer Sunday morning.
